Canada announced its 2022-2024 Immigration Levels Plan to target the highest level of immigration in its history. Canada will aim to welcome over 1.3 millions new immigrants over the coming three years with the following level of new permanent residents:

- 2023: 447,055 immigrants
- 2024: 451,000 immigrants
